Abstract: La construcción de modelos que contribuyan a la explicación del comportamiento de la demanda de dinero son aportes importantes para el análisis económico, ya que ellos pueden explicar el comportamiento de la tasa de inflación así como también de la tasa de interés, variables fundamentales para el manejo de política económica. En este trabajo, se utilizan diferentes especificaciones de modelos de datos de panel para explicar el comportamiento de la demanda de dinero al nivel de la firma, así como también detectar la posible presencia de economías de escala.
