The VI World Conference of the Spatial Econometrics Association (SEA) has the objective to bring together economists, econometricians and regional scientists to discuss the present achievements and future challenges and opportunities in spatial data analysis. The conference is organized by the Centro de Desenvolvimento e Planejamento Regional (Centre for Regional Development and Planning - CEDEPLAR) at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG).
The Conference will take place from 11-13 of July, 2012 in Bahia Othon Palace Hotel, Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. It will be the first SEA World Conference in Latin America. Please check important dates and submission instructions here.
The Conference will be preceded by 1 day of intensive courses in Spatial Econometrics and Spatial Data Analysis. We are pleased to announce Prof. Greene and Prof. Pesaran as Keynote Speakers.
